2026 Mercury Marine® FourStroke 40hp Jet

The Jet 40 ELPT is build on the 60 hp powerhead. It's a 4-stroke with fuel injection so it's smooth and efficient. This is the remote model for boats with a console and steering helm. We also stock the tiller steered version of this engine.

All the Mercury jets come standard with Stainless Steel impellers for durability in rocky rivers. And, of course, it's electric start with power trim. 

This engine bolts right up to a 20" transom and doesn't need a riser or other adaptations.
